Rania's yoga class

Rania is the most wonderful yoga instructor ever I’ve ever had. She teaches traditional yoga with a dance-influenced twist and an invigorating vinyasa flow. I take Rania’s class twice a week and I look forward to it with something resembling addiction. Rania is so very present in class – there is no clock watching or mental-grocery-list making – and while she keeps the class moving she also manages to keep a keen eye on each individual student, giving personalized tips or body adjustments as she goes, and making sure everyone feels comfortable and welcome in class. Rania also does a fabulous job of simultaneously describing and demonstrating exactly which muscle or muscle group or other body part you should be emphasizing, and why, and how to go about doing that yourself. She stresses strength, flexibility and endurance, and under her instruction I've improved all three in the year I've had the good fortune to take her class. Danny and Rania's Yoga Class

Danny and Rania have developed and refined the best Yoga class my wife and I have ever taken. It emphasizes excellent yoga technique and stretching, strength and aerobic endurance. When you finish a class, you know you have worked hard and accomplished much. And you can't wait to do it all again in the next class. Last but not least, both Danny and Rania always keep it fun and interesting. Try their class-it will be unlike any yoga class you've ever taken. And if you're like me, you'll love it.

Rania's Yoga Class... What a Workout!

I just have to say that I really enjoyed Rania's yoga class, especially her ashtanga. It was a fast paced yoga class that was both energetic and therapeutic. I had more energy after the class then actually during the class. With all that energy, I can happily admit that her yoga class motivated me to clean my apartment into wee hours of the night. lol Overall, her class taught me to honor my body and be more conscientiously aware of my breathing. I've realized taking her class it's about preventive care for the body and enrichment for the mind, body, and spirit. Namaste

Yoga with Danny and Rania

Danny and Rania are the best yoga teachers. I have yet to find anyone to fill the void they left when they moved from Florida. The tempo of the class is upbeat and you continually flow through the various yoga poses. It is a great workout and I know you will love it. Submitted By: Diane Taylor

Yoga class with Danny

I took the yoga class Danny taught at Gold's Gym and it was fabulous. I hated getting up that early but I so looked forward to the class. Danny was so helpful, insightful, really knew his stuff. With his ballet background, he was able to explain a lot of does & don'ts and why this in particular was good for the body. He was always positive, helpful, an excellent teacher. Yoga testimonial

I have participated in Rania & Danny's yoga classes at the YMCA for three years. In short (I could go on forever!) I am going through a divorce and as anyone who has gone through this knows, it can really break your spirit. HOWEVER, because of my friends; Rania & Danny and their knowledge, skill, perseverence with their students, I do not need to seek counsel of any sort! I have been learning Yoga with Rania and Danny for a period of over two and half years. Being a person of Indian origin, I had an understanding and prior knowledge of many asanas of Yoga. But, I had zero practice before I joined the class. Through out these two and half years, I have seen constant improvisation and tremendous improvements not only in my personal health and core body strength, but also in peace and tranquility of mind. Knowing what I knew about Yoga before I joined, I had a very discerning mind and a critical eye to what I was going to learn from them. But, Rania and Danny pleasantly surprised me and exceeded all my expectations.

While Rania's style of teaching and personal attention have appealed to the clueless and enriched minds of our Yoga class alike, Danny brought his own endearing trademark personal traits of speed, unsurpassed energy level, good natured humor and quick wit. Rania has a very quick eye in sensing the overall mood and the energy level of the class to quickly tailor the class routine on any given day as per the needs of the class even if it means easing the participants into slower routines and then pick up the pace following with tougher, more aggressive and interesting asanas. She introduced several new asanas on regular basis to make the class participation a very interesting exercise. Her Yoga classes have become so popular that at times, the huge Yoga room was extremely crowded and I had to tuck myself in a little space in the corner of the room with my Yoga mat.

I have seen Rania and Danny help out several students with nagging body injuries and issues by tailoring the Yoga asanas in a way that would help them leverage the Yoga the best way that suits those individuals. At the same time, they fostered great friendships with class participants to increase the level of interaction with them and make them feel at ease.

Both Rania and Danny advocated the importance of long body and the importance of stretches to get there. They have time and again drove the point across about the macro and micro dynamics of practicing Yoga; at macro level, the overall style, variation, pace and benefits, and at micro level, the Ujjayi breath, flexing a specific joint or tightening a specific muscle or muscle group.

To wrap up, I have tremendously benefitted at various levels from the Power Yoga derived from Ashtanga Vinyasa of Yoga that I learnt from Rania and Danny and I wouldn't give up a chance to attend their Yoga class on any day.

Incredible Yoga Class

Rania's and Danny's yoga classes are great! I discovered Rania's class at our local YMCA after losing a long time yoga teacher to a career move. I never expected to find such a challenging class at this venue. I had been taking yoga classes for about four years when I found Rania's class and was excited to see a class that focused on the fundamentals of yoga. Their Vinyasa style of yoga was exactly what I was looking for! Rania and Danny are highly trained yoga instructors. They promote proper alignment with gentle adjustments to prevent injury. They incorporate many different poses in their sessions to allow for a great workout at ALL levels. I always found their classes challenging yet safe and fun! Exceptional Instruction

Danny and Rania are the best yoga leaders I've experienced. They make every participant feel comfortable and capable, and encourage each individual to practice at the level that suits them. They challenge everyone to move forward and do more, with attention to each individual's proper form. Classes with them 3-4 times a week put me in the best shape - physically and mentally - of my life.
